NJ High School Diploma Testing
The New Jersey Department of Education officially announced that HiSET will no longer be offered in New Jersey after May 31, 2023.
Effective June 1, 2023, GED will be the only approved test in New Jersey. For more information about the GED Test, please visit: https://ged.com/
Information will be updated on the Camden County College website regarding the college’s approval to administer the GED Test.
We are recommending that candidates make every attempt to complete their HiSET test modules, whether at Camden County College, or an alternative NJ test site, by May 31, 2023. In the event that you are unable to pass the HiSET by May 31, 2023, the New Jersey Department of Education states, “If a student has not finished their HiSET test prior to GED being administered, the student can take the remaining subject tests through GED. The Department will combine the scores, a diploma will be issued, and one transcript will be created.”
