Adult Basic Skills Classes (formerly GED)

New Student Registration August 2020
Due to conditions related to COVID-19 the Camden County College Adult Basic Skills Program will conduct Registration and Orientation activities VIRTUALLY. We will post access information for our online Registration and Orientation sessions no later than Monday, August 10, 2020.

High School Completion Test Preparation Classes and
ESL Instruction

Registration and Orientation sessions will be conducted as follows:

Camden Campus:
Students interested in Day classes – Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 10 AM
Students interested in Evening classes – Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 5 PM

Blackwood Campus:
Interested students in Evening classes – Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 5 PM
ALL students will be required to complete the Adult Basic Skills Application and Intake Process. Additionally, all students must provide copies of the following required documents: valid State ID, Social Security Card, and Birth Certificate.

  • A maximum of fifty (50) spaces will be available for each session.
  • Students 16 and 17 years of age must provide a parent/guardian signed consent to enroll.
  • Instructions including the process to upload required documents will be provided with the session access notification.

PLEASE NOTE: When classes begin in September 2020 student instruction will be conducted with distance learning methods due to COVID 19. Students will require the necessary technology to participate in classes using computers or smart phone technology. Additionally, students must be willing to transition to direct instruction (face-to-face) as conditions allow. When conditions allow instruction will be conducted in a blended-learning, direct instruction and distance learning approach.
