E-Safety Online Training

All employees must complete required safety training annually. The deadline is June 30th of each year.

ExecuTime

Executime is the College’s time-keeping system. Employees can use Executime to:

  • Clock in and out
  • Submit time-off requests
  • View available leave balances

Retirement Programs

Camden County College retirement programs are administered through the New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benefits. Eligibility and enrollment are determined by the state based on your employment requirements.

Voluntary Tax Shelters

Employees may participate in a voluntary 403(b) plan, which allows for employee-only contributions with no employer match. Participants can elect to have additional pre tax funds deducted from their paycheck. The College currently offers six investment vendors: Equitable, Empower (formerly MassMutual), TIAA, MetLife/Brighthouse, VOYA, and Corebridge (formerly Valic).

Employees may also choose to enroll in a 457(b) tax shelter plan through MetLife or TIAA.

NJWELL is an employee wellness program designed to help members live healthier lifestyles. Eligible employees and their covered spouses or partners may earn rewards for completing activities designed to promote healthy behaviors.

Prescription Benefits

Dental Benefits

The College offers three separate dental plans through Delta Dental- The Premier Plus PPO plan, PPO Plan and the Fixed Co-Pay PPO Plan.

Employee Assistance Program

The College provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through ComPsych. The program offers short term counseling, mental health referrals, legal and financial guidance, and work life balance resources for employees and their families.

Flexible Spending Account

The College offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that allows eligible employees to pay for qualified out-of-pocket medical or dependent care expenses.

Leave Programs

  • Family Medical Leave Act
    Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law providing eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid job protection leave per year for qualifying reason.

  • NJ Family Leave Act (NJFLA)
    The New Jersey Family Leave Act (NJFLA) is a state law that provides eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of job-protected, unpaid leave within a 24-month period to bond with a child, care for a family member, or manage public health emergencies.

  • NJ Family Leave Insurance (NJFLI)
    NJ Family Leave Insurance (NJFLI) provides eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of partially paid, job protected leave to bond with a new child, care for a seriously ill family member, or address matters related to domestic or sexual violence.

  • The Hartford Short Term Disability (STD)
    STD is provided to permanent employees of the College. It provides eligible employees with up to 24 weeks of paid leave when they are unable to work due to their own non-work-related illness, injury, or disability, subject to plan eligibility requirements and medical certification. Benefits are administered in accordance with the College’s short-term disability policy and applicable leave laws.

Educations Benefits

  • Tuition Waiver – Camden County College Courses
    Employees and eligible dependents are granted tuition-free entrance to any credit classes offered by the College provided they meet the course’s entrance requirements. General service fees will also be waived.

  • Tuition Reimbursement- Other Institutions
    The College offers tuition reimbursement to eligible employees who participate in credit coursework taken outside of the institution. Please contact Human Resources or refer to your collective negotiated agreement or employee handbook to determine eligibility.
  • Tuition Exchange Program
    The College participates in the Tuition Exchange (TE) Program, a benefit that is available to full-time employees and their dependent children. Tuition Exchange is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity offered through a network of more than 700 member colleges and universities across the country.     Through this program, eligible dependents may apply for TE Scholarships at participating institutions. Below is a summary of key eligibility details:

    • Tuition Exchange is available for undergraduate study to dependent children (as defined by IRS rules) of full-time employees with at least two years of continuous full-time service.
    • Eligible dependents must be the natural, adopted, or stepchildren of regular full time employees. IRS dependency rules apply:
      • Children ages 17–23 must be full time students claimed as dependents on the parent’s Form 1040.
      • Unmarried children over age 23 must be full time students supported by their parents.
