QPR Suicide Prevention Training for CCC Staff
The Student Affairs Division and the Psychology Club is offering QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), Suicide Prevention Training for CCC staff.
This is a 2-year National Certification that includes 1.5 hours from the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Did you know that suicide is the 10th leading cause of death nationwide and the 13th leading cause of death in New Jersey? Additionally, it is the second leading cause of death in New Jersey for young people age ten to thirty-four years old.
