Learn how the framework can help you define what you do as school counselors and how students are different as a result of what you do. To simply streamline your school counseling program, take advantage of your opportunity to learn these components and how to enhance your counseling toolkit.
Implementing the ASCA National Model is the best way to advocate for the profession and for your school counseling program. This introductory session is perfect for those ready to get started with a comprehensive school counseling program and is also a good refresher for those needing basic information. After attending the session, you will be able to: 1) Explain how implementing the model leads to stronger advocacy for your students and program, 2) Write a goal in SMART format, 3) Differentiate between direct and indirect services, 4) Identify ways to share and use data with stakeholders.
