Motorcycle Safety Training Course

Rider Training of New Jersey conducts this beginner course consisting of a 15-hour core curriculum spanning the basics, “Where are the controls and how do they work?” all the way through evasive maneuvers and advance turning and braking. Rider Training of New Jersey provides top-notch instruction for new and experienced motorcycle operators.

The standard course schedule is three consecutive days during the weekend:

  • Friday Night – 6:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday – 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.*
  • Sunday – 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.*

However, a weekday schedule is available during the summer: Monday – 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.* Tuesday – 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.*

*Additional time is built in to these schedules for weather, extra coaching, or any other circumstances. We provide a motorcycle & helmet. There is never more than one instructor per six students to aid in promoting your skills. Safety is our primary goal and we do everything possible to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. You will be given a riding examination at the conclusion of the outdoor activities and will need to achieve state requirements to pass the program.
