Art on Campus

Art on Campus is an initiative started in summer 2014 with the intention of showcasing the wealth of artwork currently in the collection of Camden County College. Recently the agenda has expanded to actively solicit works on loan and donations from both regionally and nationally recognized artists. We currently have over thirty-five major works of art such as monumental ceramic and concrete murals, large scale stone carvings, mixed media sculptures, paintings, and drawings. It is our goal to continue expanding Arts on Campus, to install and display additional high caliber works of art, and to look toward establishing the college’s art collection as a destination and educational asset for students, professionals, and art enthusiasts in the region.

Towards that end, the Art on Campus Fund has been established through the support and generosity of members of the College Community. Donations enable us to permanently install additional works, create plaques identifying those works, advertise and sponsor tours of the growing collection, and offset the costs of producing student based projects such as the large scale murals located in Kevin G. Halpern Hall for Science & Health Education (Halpern Hall).
