2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition

August 3, 2020 to September 11, 2020

Welcome to the Virtual 2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition!

Congratulations to all of the participants in the Virtual 2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition. Continue to grow as an artist and use every moment as the inspiration for something great.

In this unprecedented time, the arts are more important now than ever before. It is through the arts that we can express our feelings, provide comfort to one another, inspire hope for the future, and bring together our talented community of artists.

Due to COVID-19-related concerns and social distancing standards, the 2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition will be conducted entirely online, at both the county and the state levels. Approved submissions have been adjudicated and shared on the 2020 Virtual Senior Citizens Juried Art Contest & exhibition website and social media pages starting on August 3.

Thank you to the 2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Adjudicators, Lydia Hamilton Brown and Gregory Brellochs!

The Virtual 2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition provides our residents with an artistic outlet, much like they would have experienced at the in-person Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition, but in a virtual format that keeps everyone healthy and safe!

Although we have gone virtual for 2020, we plan to return in full force with an in-person 2021 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition in Summer 2021! To be added to the mailing list for that event, please email arts@camdencc.edu.
See You Again in Summer 2021.

What is the 2020 Senior Citizens Art Show Juried Art Contest and Exhibition?
Every year, the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College invites Camden County residents age 60 and older to submit artwork to the annual Senior Citizens Juried Art Contest & Exhibition. Any senior artist currently residing in New Jersey may submit artwork completed within the last three years. First-place winners at the County level advance to the State Senior Art Show. The competition is open to all professional and non-professional artists. Co-sponsored by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and Mercer County’s Division of Culture & Heritage, with support from the NJ Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Meadow Lakes, a Springpoint community, the New Jersey Senior Citizens Art Show is now in its 54th year.
