Scholarship FAQs

Where do scholarships come from?

Generous individuals, alumni, and businesses in our community partner with the CCC Foundation to create scholarships that make a meaningful difference, honoring someone special, celebrating an achievement, or remembering a loved one through a memorial fund. Each year, the Foundation hosts exciting fundraising events to support student scholarships,
including our signature annual Gala, Designer Bag Bingo, Wine & Jazz, CCC apparel fundraisers, all opportunities to celebrate, connect, and invest in the future of our students.

What scholarships are available?

The CCC Foundation offers a variety of scholarships and awards that become available regularly. Our online CCC Foundation Scholarships application manages all available Foundation scholarships. See "How to Apply" on the college's Scholarships page.

Who decides the awarding of scholarships?

CCC Foundation scholarships have review committees comprised of faculty, staff, and academic departments that score recipients' online applications based on the scholarship criteria. For department-based scholarships, recipients are selected through faculty nominations coordinated by a departmental review team.

When and how will I be notified if selected for a scholarship?

If selected, scholarship recipients will be notified by email on April 20, 2026. Notifications will be sent to the email address listed in your AwardSpring profile, so please ensure your contact information is up to date.

When and how are financial awards distributed to students?

After recipients have met the scholarship mandatory requirements, scholarship awards will be sent directly to your college institution to be applied toward tuition for the upcoming Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

What is tuition?

Tuition is the amount of money a college charges for instruction. It covers the cost of your classes and academic programs. Tuition does not include other expenses like books, supplies, housing, or meal plans, which are considered additional costs.
