On February 8, the College held the rescheduled 2019 Day of Service honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his impact on the lives of Americans. More than 25 students, faculty and staff volunteers gathered at the Camden Campus to perform hands-on, service-oriented activities to celebrate the legacy of the man that reminds us, “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.”
“I commend Camden County College’s Office of Student Life and Activities for organizing this Day of Service, and invite everyone to join us in giving back to our communities in the spirit of Dr. King,” said Freeholder Jonathan Young.
We thank the great team of volunteers that spent the evening giving back to our college community by performing light cleaning, classroom beautification.
