The Cybersecurity Certificate prepares students for entry level employment in the field of information security. Major areas of study include networking fundamentals, operating systems, network defense, and computer forensics. The courses in this certificate program combine theory and application in order to develop and implement appropriate information security policies and procedures.

Program Student Learning Outcomes
At the end of the program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate how to conduct digital forensics investigations and to investigate potential security breaches of computer data.
- Examine professional and ethical codes of conduct with respect to cyber forensics.
- Identify security risks and summarize possible remedies.
- Develop solutions for networking and security problems, balancing business concerns, technical issues and security.
