All-County Modern Band

In January 2025, the Camden County College All-County Modern Band held its inaugural performance at the Dennis Flyer Theater on Camden County College’s Blackwood Campus.
Modern bands are not new in the professional music world, but they are a growing presence in school music programs. Modern bands perform exclusively popular music and are made up of bands that combine vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass, horns, and strings.

The opportunity to participate in the Camden County College All-County Modern Band is open to all Camden County high school students regardless of if they participate in their school ensembles (choir, orchestra, etc.) or if they play in a garage band with friends. This program is sponsored by Camden County College, and there is no cost for students to participate.

Selected musicians participated in three rehearsals with music industry professionals prior to their performance at the All-County Modern Band Showcase in January.
