All-County Modern Band 2026

Calling all high school-aged musicians! This January, Camden County College wants to jam with you at our second annual All-County Modern Band Showcase!

We are looking for ALL musical people, singers, rappers, drummers, guitarists, violinists, clarinetists, you name it. Whether you play in one of your school’s traditional ensembles like choir, orchestra, concert band, or you are an independent singer-songwriter, MC, or thrash metal guitarist, we want to showcase your talents!

Details

Selected musicians will participate in three rehearsals with eminent music industry professionals in early January and a concert on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Dennis Flyer Theater on Camden County College’s Blackwood campus.

Students will receive an All-County Modern Band t-shirt and a commemorative certificate. Outside of the musical benefits of performing with your peers under the tutelage of professional music mentors, selection into an All-County Modern Band is another way for creative high school students to separate themselves on college and scholarship applications.

Center for Cultural Engagement at Camden County College sponsors this program, and, thus, there is no charge for students selected to participate in this program!

How to Audition

If you are interested, all you need to do is record a video of you singing or rapping a verse and chorus of a song you love, or, if you are an instrumentalist, let’s hear 30 seconds or so of something you like to play. A phone video recording is entirely appropriate for this audition. Submit all video auditions and complete the audition survey by December 1, 2025.
