Enrollment Verifications

An enrollment verification is a document certified by a college official that confirms a student is enrolled for a given term, verifying their enrollment status. Enrollment verifications are often requested from students for insurance, housing, and employment purposes. Our office can assist with either generating an Enrollment Verification Letter or by completing designated sections of forms provided by students. *In compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Camden County College will release specific information concerning a student (or former student) only with the signature of the student, a court order or a subpoena, a power of attorney authorized by the student, or upon the request of the executor of the student’s estate.*

  • In order to request an enrollment verification letter or certification of a provided document, students must complete an Enrollment Verification Release Form, indicating which semester the verification is for, and where the completed verification is to be sent to. Completed release forms and requests for enrollment verification can be sent to Registrar@camdencc.edu for processing. Please allow up to two business days for completed forms to be returned.
  • NSC reporting info – CCC reports enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse by the 15th of each month. Participating lenders are notified by the National Student Clearinghouse the last week of each month. If you are unable to wait for the automatic update in the National Student Clearinghouse, please email registrar@camdencc.edu to request an enrollment verification letter that you can provide to your lender. Please note that we cannot control how quickly your lender accesses the information provided. We can only confirm that it has been sent.

Change of Curriculum

Students can submit a Change of Curriculum form to our department for processing to update their academic program. Available academic programs can be found on our website here. Students can meet with Academic Advisors for assistance with choosing a new program, appointments can be made to meet with an Advisor on the Advisement page.

  • Completed forms can be sent to Registrar@camdencc.edu for processing.
  • Please note, change of curriculum forms cannot be used to enter into a selective program, which are listed below and on the form. Admission to specialized programs is subject to additional criteria, restrictions and deadline dates as published in the Programs of Study section of the Academic Program Guide.

FERPA Standing Release Information

  • If you wish to give someone access to obtain information regarding your student record, you must complete a FERPA standing release form. This release form is only valid during your time of active enrollment. It expires at the end of your last semester enrolled. It does not automatically re-activate upon re-enrollment. If you wish to remove access to your record while you are still enrolled, you will need to submit a request to do so. With your signature, your designee below will have permission to obtain information, but will not have permission to make changes to your record of any kind. Your designee will be required to show proof of identity to access record information.
  • FERPA standing release forms may only be completed by the student, and submitted to the Records and Registration office by the student in order to be valid. Students can submit the form in person at Enrollment Services with valid photo ID, or via their Camden County College student email only. Emailed forms can be sent to registrar@camdencc.edu
  • A PDF version of the form can be found on our website here.

Change of Data

It is very important for students to ensure their information on file is correct and up to date. If information changes, students should update their accounts accordingly to ensure accuracy of their student account. Students can request updates
to their account in the follow ways:

  • To update a legal name, home address, or make a correction to their SSN on file, students must submit a Change of Personal Data Form along with supporting documentation. A digital form can be filled out online at the link above with secure document upload, or in person at Enrollment Services on campus.
  • To update a phone number or personal email address on file, students can send a request via email to Registrar@camdencc.edu from their Camden County College student email address, or visit us in person at Enrollment Services on campus for assistance

Transcript Services

  • What is the difference between an unofficial and an official transcript?
Transcripts are a student’s academic record, detailing courses taken, grades received, credits earned, GPA, and degrees awarded by a college. Both unofficial and official transcripts contain the same student record information, but differ in the following way: Official transcripts are on secure transcript paper, are signed by a college official, and are sealed in an envelope (or digitally protected).
  • Do I need an unofficial or official transcript?
Typically, unofficial transcripts are for student’s personal use and records. Official transcripts are typically required when students are transferring credits to another institution, submitting job applications, or for other credentialing purposes. We always advise students confirm whether they need an official or unofficial transcript for whatever their intended use, prior to submitting a transcript order.
  • How can I access my Unofficial Transcript?
Unofficial transcripts can be accessed by logging into Self-Service via your myCCC Portal. In the menu of Self Service, you can access your unofficial transcript under the “Academics” tab. Once on the tab, click on the link for “Undergraduate Transcript” on the page that opens. Your transcript will download as a PDF.
If you are a previous student and no longer have access to your MyCCC portal, you can request an unofficial transcript in person at Enrollment Services in Taft Hall on the Blackwood Campus.
  • How can I request an Official Transcript?
Online – Official transcripts can be obtained online via the National Student Clearinghouse, delivered via email or standard mail to the recipient you specify on the form, or held for pickup. The link to order can be found on our website here.
In person – Official transcripts can be requested at Enrollment Services
in Taft Hall on the Blackwood Campus.
A fee of $12.00 per official transcript must be paid at time of ordering, both in-person and online.
  • Red Card FAQ

    • What is Red Card Approval?
Red Card approval is used to grant authorization for a student to enter a class that he/she would otherwise not be permitted to register for. Redcard approval can be granted for the following reasons:
      – Closed courses- a course that has reached seat capacity
      – Prerequisite override
      – Late Registration – registration after the add/drop period has conceded
    • How do I request a Red Card?
Red Cards for closed courses and prerequisite overrides are authorized by the professor of the course the student is seeking approval for. To request the approval, the student would reach out to the professor directly, typically via email to their faculty email address. Red Card approval can be emailed directly by the professor to the registration office inbox at redcard@camdencc.edu
Professor email contacts can generally be located on our College Directory, or via the corresponding Dean’s office if not listed on the directory.
Red Card approval for late registration requires both the Professor’s approval, and the Academic Dean’s approval.
Note: Red Card approval is at the discretion of the professor, and is not guaranteed.
    • How do I register after I receive Red Card approval?
Once a student receives the appropriate Red Card approvals from the professor (and Dean for late registration), the student will need to provide the approval to the Registration office along with a completed registration form. Students are not automatically registered for courses they are approved for; a registration form must be completed to finalize the registration.
