The Camden County College Theater Program is excited to announce auditions for Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest.
A sparkling satire filled with mistaken identities, social climbing, romance, and razor-sharp wit, The Importance of Being Earnest remains one of the most celebrated comedies in the English language.

Audition Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Callbacks: Tuesday, September 15, 2026
Performance Dates: November 13–22, 2026

Additional daytime student matinee performances will take place November 16–20 at 10:30 a.m. as part of CCC’s Novel Stages school matinee series.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No preparation is required.
All currently enrolled CCC students are encouraged to audition. Actors of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
