On September 25, regional healthcare leaders convened at Camden County College (CCC) for Workforce Development Day, allowing for in-depth conversation about workforce trends and opportunities to align with industry needs in South Jersey and beyond.
During the panel discussion, Antoinette Fugee (Cooper Norcross Health), Jenny Breunig (Jefferson Health), Katherine Kealey (Virtua Health), and Eshan Singh (CAMcare Health Corporation) shared their insights into the industry and how CCC can best prepare students as they work to become successful healthcare professionals.
The event also included a demonstration of SimX, led by Professor David DiVenti, which gave a firsthand look at the virtual reality platform. SimX will allow students to practice clinical skills through simulated day-to-day scenarios at CCC’s new VR Studio in Camden City.
