Job Shadow Experience

A job shadow is typically a half or full-day experience designed to provide a student with exposure to a particular career or industry. While job shadow experiences will vary from company to company, most experiences will involve a facility tour and time spent with an employee or other company representative observing work performed.

This experience also provides an excellent opportunity to learn about a particular organization and possible future employment opportunities, develop professional contacts, and gain valuable insight into the organization’s hiring process and traits/skills the organization identifies as crucial to success.
