Standardized Exams

Standardized exams offer a convenient and cost-effective avenue for students to acquire academic credits in various courses within their degree programs. Achievement of a minimum passing score on these exams can lead to the conferment of academic credit.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) – Most CLEP exams are designed to correspond to one-semester courses, although some correspond to full-year or two-year courses.

DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) – The program is an extensive series of examinations in college subject areas that are comparable to the final or end-of-course examinations in undergraduate college courses.

Fee: $80 Test + 15 Administration fee = $95 (Must be separate payments)

Advanced Placement (AP) – Students who have taken an AP course and passed the test with the required score needed in one of the approved subject areas may submit official documentation for credit.
