Blackwood Campus
Our beautiful child-centered facility offers a developmentally appropriate program for children 2 1/2 years of age and toilet-trained through 6 1/2 years of age. We create a positive environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually, and creatively. Our child-centered facility operates all year round.


At Camden County College Child Care Center, your child will:

  • Grow and develop with the guidance of a positive, professional and caring staff;
  • Play with a variety of materials designed for his or her specific developmental level;
  • Develop self-help personal hygiene skills while using our child size bathrooms and sinks;
  • Participate in a variety of activities including: Language Arts, Science, Math, Music, Creative Movement, Physical Education, Creative Arts, Cooking and Woodworking;
  • Learn many and varied skills including: fine and gross motor, listening to and following directions, and cognitive skills such as: classification, seriation and understanding spatial relationships;
  • Learn how to live effectively with other children; to value his/her own rights and the rights of others;
  • Participate in both teacher-initiated and child-selected activities;
  • Bring his/her own lunch from home (after all, parents know best what their children like to eat);
  • Enjoy nutritious snack in both the morning and afternoon. These snacks will be provided by the Camden County College Child Care Center;
  • Enjoy a safe, secure and happy early childhood experience.


At Camden County College Child Care Center you will be:

  • Welcome to visit the center at anytime;
  • Encouraged to share hobbies and/or careers and to participate in the program whenever possible;
  • Comfortable knowing your child is safe and secure in a caring, clean, positive, educational environment;
  • Provided with a variety of schedules to meet your needs:


5 hour schedules:

Morning sessions:
7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.


Afternoon sessions:
1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week


Full Day hours:
7:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week

All children need to be in the center by 9 a.m. for morning pre-school session.
