CCC's Rohrer Center in Cherry Hill Hosting First Open-House Event
Camden County College’s William G. Rohrer Center will hold a “Smart Start” Open House – its first-ever open-house event – from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 13.
Prospective students of all ages and educational backgrounds are welcome to attend. Whether imminent or recent high school graduates, working adults looking to change careers or upgrade credentials or retirees pursuing a second or third profession, the Rohrer Center can help locals seeking to begin, resume or complete higher-education studies achieve their goals.
“No matter if students want to earn an entire associate degree or just take a few courses, they can do so here,” said Rohrer Center Executive Dean Robert F. Kaczorowski. “With free parking in spacious lots, technology-rich classrooms, a cyber café, a mini-bookstore and an e-library connected to the main campus library and the Camden County Library System, area residents have no need to travel further than their own backyards for a high-quality, low-cost college experience.”
During the “Smart Start” Open House, student support services staff will be on hand to:
● provide academic advisement.
● assist in completion of financial-aid applications.
● discuss transfer opportunities.
● lead tours of the Center.
CCC is New Jersey’s most comprehensive community college as well as one of its largest. It also is one of the largest institutions of higher education in the region and one of the most affordable.
The William G. Rohrer Center is located at Route 70 and Springdale Road in Cherry Hill. To register for the "Smart Start" Open House, call the Center’s information desk at (856) 874-6000.
