New Information Session Set for Rutgers @ CCC Bachelor's Program

Those seeking to build a Camden County College associate degree into a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, can do so on campus at CCC. To learn how, they should attend the next information session for the Rutgers @ CCC program.

Rutgers @ CCC began this fall and offers students who have earned an associate degree or completed approximately 60 credits’ worth of collegiate study the opportunity to enroll in one of two Rutgers baccalaureate study tracks at the College. Successful completion of one of these tracks results in a bachelor of arts degree in liberal studies or a bachelor of science degree in nursing for registered nurses.

The program was developed to allow Camden County College graduates and other area residents to earn a high-quality bachelor’s degree while staying close to where they live and work. Supported by Rutgers–Camden’s University College, which offers students convenient ways to pursue higher education and advance their careers while maintaining busy lifestyles, the program will provide enrollees with familiar student services and campus life.

The next information session will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Atrium of the Connector Building on CCC’s Blackwood Campus, which is located at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township.

Attendees will be able to meet with Rutgers representatives and discuss program requirements. They also will be able to sign up for courses.
