Our department is part of the Division of STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, headed by Dr. Susan Choi. The chairperson of the Math Department is Joseph Diaco and our secretary is Ms. Camille Danielson.

We offer a full range of courses, the great majority of which are transferable to other colleges and universities. Our offerings include Algebraic Concepts,  Concepts of Mathematics, Math Systems I: Structures, Math for Liberal Arts, Introduction to Statistics,  Statistics I & II, College Algebra/Business and Social Science, Explorations in Mathematical Thought , Pre-Calculus I & II, Accelerated Pre-Calculus, Statistics for Technology, Biostatistics,  Applied Calculus,  Calculus I, II & III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Discrete Mathematics.

We also offer a mathematics option to the liberal arts and sciences’ Associate in Science degree. After completing the first two years of college at CCC, a significant number of our students transfer to area universities such as Rutgers, Rowan, Temple and Drexel to obtain their bachelor’s degree.

We are part of a teaching institution that serves the Camden County community. Our main goal is to provide an affordable education by means of good and effective teaching. Our main concern is to create an appropriate learning environment where students’ academic needs are competently addressed. We serve both day and evening students at the Blackwood, Camden and Cherry Hill campuses. Teaching usually takes place in small classes and technology is used to enhance the learning of mathematical concepts and applications. We strive for excellence and we make every possible effort for our students to succeed.
