A renewed national interest in public safety is
expanding the opportunities for employment in law,
public safety and security. Therefore Camden County
College provides a career pathways curriculum in
Law, Public Safety and Security Education.

Students may choose from:

  • Security/Protective Services
  • Emergency/Fire Management Services
  • Legal Services

This "2+2+2 Program" is a result of partnerships between Camden County College, several area high schools and a number of four-year colleges and universities including The College of New Jersey. Students can accumulate up to twelve college credits in their junior and senior year of high school. Following high school graduation, the student continues study at Camden County College and can then transfer into one of the participating four-year institutions. The structured learning experience includes field trips to such facilities as the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia; and the Camden City Police and Fire Departments as well as a one-week summer academy at Camden County College.
