Internships
Camden County College's
Office of Media Relations offers credit and non-credit
internship opportunities to qualified students. These
opportunities are available to students who attend two-
or four-year institutions of higher education within
the region. Past participants have included undergraduate
and graduate students from Camden County College, Rutgers
University, Rowan University and the University of Delaware.
Internships for academic credit are
arranged as co-operative education experiences. These
normally require a statement of learning objectives
and a semester-concluding academic report as well as
the completion of a set number of hours. Non-credit
internships are arranged as unpaid work experiences.
These also require the completion of a set number of
hours. Interviews are required of all prospective Office
of Media Relations interns.
Office of Media Relations internships
involve a range communications-related activities. Depending
on individual student talents and needs, tasks could
include research, interviews, photography, article writing,
press release writing, publication reviews, proofreading,
editing, event assistance and clerical duties. Past
interns have seen their work published by media outlets
throughout the region, have written for campus publications
and have contributed in numerous other ways to Camden
County College's communication, publicity, marketing
and outreach efforts.

an internship, contact Susan Coulby, manager, Office
