Biography:
Professor
Lavell went to undergraduate school at Ursinus College where he majored
in chemistry and earned a B.S degree. For three years, he worked at Wyeth
Laboratories in the analytical development department and went to school
in the evening at Villanova, earning an M.S. in analytical chemistry.
Eventually, he returned to graduate school full-time and earned a Ph.D.
in organic chemistry at Princeton University. After more teaching, research
and industrial experience, he ended up at Camden County College, where
he's now an organic chemistry professor.
