To take the College Placement Test, please bring the following:
Hand held calculators and dictionaries are NOT permitted.
You may begin the test at anytime within the walk-in hours. Please allow 2½ hours to complete the entire test.
You will receive your
Math placement immediately. The Reading and Essay placement scores will be available in 7 working days after your test date.
After the test, you will receive a print-out with your math score and the phone numbers for the Advisement Center. The Advising staff will review your test results with you.
Results cannot be discussed over the phone because of the confidential nature of testing.

For New Students: How to Apply to Camden County College
If you are a new student apply for admissions online.
Go to the College web site at www.camdencc.edu and select the Future Student/Online Application link.
All students are required to complete an Admissions Application regardless of the reason for enrollment.
If you have attended another college and you are applying to a selective associate degree or certificate program, or if you wish to have your previous courses evaluated for transfer credit, please submit to the Records and Registration Office an official transcript from each college you have listed on the application.
Transcripts from other colleges may also be required to document that you have completed prerequisite courses.
Testing Regulations
No books, dictionaries, calculators, or papers of any
kind are allowed in the test room. Anyone who gives
or receives help during the test, uses notes or books
or papers of any kind, or removes test materials or
notes from the room will not be permitted to continue
the test. The College will void any test scores if there
is any reason to question its validity.
Confidentiality
Your test scores will be used only for counseling, academic
advising, and placement purposes. In order to maintain
student confidentiality, scores cannot be discussed
over the phone.
