Placement Test Schedule

College Placement Test Walk-in Schedule
January 2 through December 22, 2008

To take the College Placement Test, please bring the following:

• Photo ID
• Pen or pencil

Calculators and dictionaries are NOT permitted.

You may begin the test at anytime within the walk-in hours.  Please allow 2½ - 3 hours to complete the entire test.

You will receive your Reading and Math placement scores immediately.  The Writing placement score will not be available until 5 to 7 working days after your test date.

After your test, you will receive a print-out with your scores and the phone numbers for the Advisement Center.

Results cannot be discussed over the phone because of the confidential nature of testing.

Apr 21-May 3      Closed for Dept. Exam
May 24 – 26        Memorial Day
Jul 3 – 5               July 4th
Aug 30 – Sep 1    Labor Day
Nov 24 – Dec 6    Closed for Dept. Exam (Includes Thanksgiving)
Dec 23 – Jan 1    Holiday Break

Testing Regulations
No books, dictionaries, calculators, or papers of any kind are allowed in the test room. Anyone who gives or receives help during the test, uses notes or books or papers of any kind, or removes test materials or notes from the room will not be permitted to continue the test. The College will void any test scores if there is any reason to question its validity.

Confidentiality
Your test scores will be used only for counseling, academic advising, and placement purposes. In order to maintain student confidentiality, scores cannot be discussed over the phone.
