DESCRIPTION:Join us in the fight against Blood Cancer\nAll it takes is a cheek to join the pool of potential lifesaving donors for the patients fighting blood cancers!\nHalpern Hall Lobby and the 2nd Floor Community Center \nThe Biology and Environmental Science Club\, Nursing Club\, and Rutgers 2+2 Nursing students are hosting a DKMS stem cell donor registry drive. \nThe purpose of this event is to recruit students and staff to become donors for blood cancer patients. To become a donor\, one must fill out a registration form and then submit a cheek swab sample for analysis. Once a person is officially registered in the database and their cheek swab is analyzed\, being in the database means they can be compared with blood cancer patients as a possible match. \nLearn more at https://www.dkms.org/learn-more/about-dkms.
