DESCRIPTION:Build IDEAS with Us! \nJoin us as we celebrate the launch of the IDEAS Grant\, a new consortium partnership with Rutgers University–Camden aimed at expanding capacity for study abroad opportunities. \nThis kickoff event will feature a full day of informative sessions exploring the impact of taking learning beyond the classroom\, across borders and into the world. Presentations and discussions will be led by members of Rutgers–Camden’s Learning Abroad Program alongside CCC faculty and staff\, highlighting topics such as student engagement\, administrative capacity building\, and the design and implementation of study abroad programs. \nFaculty\, staff\, and students are all encouraged to attend\, share ideas\, and participate in brainstorming ways to expand experiential learning and create more global opportunities for our students. \nThe event will take place primarily in the Atrium and Civic Hall\, with breakout sessions held in Madison classrooms.

The winner(s) of the TAAC Scholarship will be provided with a $1000 scholarship towards completion of a bachelor’s degree. \nCriteria: \n\nWill have graduated with an associate degree between May 2025 and December 2026.\nGraduates from these community colleges are eligible to apply: Bucks County Community College\, Camden County Community College\, Community College of Philadelphia\, Delaware County Community College\, Lehigh Carbon Community College\, Reading Area Community College.\nMinimum of 30 college credits must have been earned at the community college awarding the associate degree;\nWill matriculate at an accredited\, not-for-profit four-year institution in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027\nMinimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 from all post-secondary institutions attended;\nApplication Deadline – April 19\, 2026\, including the required letter of recommendation and transcripts.\n\nApplication Materials: \n\nCompleted Hailey King Memorial Scholarship Application\, including essay and unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended and courses in progress (official transcript will be requested if selected).  Please email transcripts to taacpa1@gmail.com.  Must be submitted NO LATER THAN April 19\, 2026.\nOne letter of recommendation from a college administrator or faculty member (emailed to taacpa1@gmail.com)\, on institution letterhead with an authentic signature.
