DESCRIPTION:TAAC Hailey King Memorial Scholarship 2026 \nThe Transfer Admissions and Advising Committee (TAAC) is an organization of transfer coordinators\, advisors and transfer admissions counselors from several of the Philadelphia region’s institutions of higher education. We look to find ways to work together in an effort to better support student and institutional transfer needs and encourage transfer personnel to communicate with each other to help share experiences and successes. \nTAAC endeavors to support the transfer of Community College graduates that intend to continue their studies at four-year colleges and universities. TAAC offers the Hailey King Memorial Scholarship for students who exhibit exemplary scholastic records and civic achievements with the hope that their transfer experience may be made easier with the scholarship funds. The winner(s) of the TAAC Scholarship will be provided with a $1000 scholarship towards completion of a bachelor’s degree. \nCriteria: \n\nWill have graduated with an associate degree between May 2025 and December 2026.\nGraduates from these community colleges are eligible to apply: Bucks County Community College\, Camden County Community College\, Community College of Philadelphia\, Delaware County Community College\, Lehigh Carbon Community College\, Reading Area Community College.\nMinimum of 30 college credits must have been earned at the community college awarding the associate degree;\nWill matriculate at an accredited\, not-for-profit four-year institution in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027\nMinimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 from all post-secondary institutions attended;\nApplication Deadline – April 19\, 2026\, including the required letter of recommendation and transcripts.\n\nApplication Materials: \n\nCompleted Hailey King Memorial Scholarship Application\, including essay and unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended and courses in progress (official transcript will be requested if selected).  Please email transcripts to taacpa1@gmail.com.  Must be submitted NO LATER THAN April 19\, 2026.\nOne letter of recommendation from a college administrator or faculty member (emailed to taacpa1@gmail.com)\, on institution letterhead with an authentic signature. This must be emailed directly by the letter writer! Deadline for receipt is NO LATER THAN April 19\, 2026 @ 11:59pm.\nPlease proofread your application before submitting. Answer all questions fully.
