Writing Useful IEP’s

In this workshop, participants will learn how to strengthen the clarity and overall effectiveness of their IEPs. Participants will learn how building cohesive IEPs can improve their compliance using the “three-way match”. Writing useful PLAAFPs, goals, and modifications will be discussed and modeled. Participants will critique their own IEPs using the techniques and strategies presented in this workshop. Elementary/secondary special education teachers, CST members, and those who train teachers in writing IEPs are invited to attend.

About the Presenter:
Calvin Cizek served as Director of Special Services for 25 years and currently serves as Disability Support Coordinator at Salem Community College. He is the president of New Road Educational Consulting specializing in a variety of educational projects, trainings, and workshops.
