B. Mental Health Issues in Children presented by Kara Ieva, Associate Professor of Counseling in Educational
Settings at Rowan University
Specific mental health issues in schools today and practical intervention techniques will be discussed.
C. Autism presented by Dr. Brent Elder, Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary & Inclusive Education at Rowan University
Gain an overview of how to support students with Autism. Facts, myths, and labels related to autism will be addressed.
D. Managing Difficult Students presented by Tony DeCaesar, BCBA, Esquire
Information on assessing needs, services and programming for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities in school
will be shared.
