Data Science Symposium – Connecting Education and Industry

April 14 @ 8:15 am - 1:30 pm

Our goal is to gather representatives from high schools, two-year colleges, four-year colleges, and industry to discuss ways to collaborate so that students from the high school level through college can develop the skills necessary to be successful in this popular and necessary field. Currently, we all seem to work independently of each other, when instead, it would be beneficial to work together via shared projects, scholarship programs, or other programs that will give the students insight into the industry needs, while presenting companies with an opportunity to share innovative ideas with educators and future industry workers.
