Mentoring/Orientation
Full-time
Faculty
Camden County College's Mentoring Program is designed to provide a peer
support network for all new faculty. Faculty Mentors are tenured faculty
with a desire to offer their time and experience to a newly hired faculty
member. If you think you would like to become a mentor, please contact
your division dean for more information.
All
new faculty participate in a full day orientation program that provides
them with valuable information to prepare them for their first year
of teaching. Orientation sessions include information on topics such
as the library, instructional technology, instructional support, secretarial
support, and academic advising. In addition, new faculty are assigned
a faculty mentor and participate in the College's Mentoring Program.

Adjunct
Faculty Mentoring
Camden County College also offers all new and returning faculty an evening
orientation program at the start of the semester. At this annual event,
adjunct faculty enjoy the camaraderie of their peers at dinner, followed
by presentations from the various academic support departments at the
college. Each year, three adjunct faculty are awarded the Adjunct Teaching
Excellence Award at this event.
