Resources
The Teaching and Learning Center purchases and maintains a wide assortment of materials related to teaching and learning in higher education. We welcome faculty input for purchases at any time. Formats include newspapers, books, journals, articles, CD's, DVD's and other electronic materials.
The College library catalogs items in the Teaching and Learning Center collection. The local heading, "Teaching Learning Center" enables users to isolate them quickly by keywords in the library's catalog, CamCat.
Author, title, and subject searches will also retrieve records for these materials, in addition to materials in the Library's collection. Items in the Teaching and Learning Center collection circulate to faculty using the College's library circulation system.
Academic Program Review
Academic Program Review is an essential part of the curriculum development process. Each year, the deans identify a group of programs and disciplines to be reviewed by the faculty. Once a program is selected, the chair or coordinator will be notified of a timeline for data collection, departmental review, dean's review, and review by the College's Academic.
Outcomes Assessment
Camden County College is committed to continuous improvement throughout the institution. The College's Outcomes Assessment Program provides the basis for ongoing assessment of each academic, service, and administrative department at the college. The Office of Institutional Advancement works collaboratively with the office of Academic and Student Affairs to regularly collect and analyze data with the ultimate goal of improving the effectiveness of the college.
