Instructional
Media Productions (IMP) provides assistance to
faculty looking to incorporate digital media content
into their course curriculums, and produces multimedia
packages for the entire college community, in support
of instructional, promotional and administrative goals.

- Productions
that enhance direct instruction and professional
development:
IMP
produces digital content for use in the classroom,
for grant proposals and faculty research projects.
These include: video productions, Pod casts, PowerPoint
presentations, computer graphics and interactive
Web sites.
- Productions
that enhance the Colleges image in the wider
community:
IMP provides video capture and editing
services for major academic and college events,
such as conferences, guest lectures, Commencement,
Investitures, Convocation, building dedications,
and for training and promotional purposes.
- Productions
not limited to direct instruction that contribute
to other areas of the college community:
IMP
maintains non-linear digital video and audio editing
equipment. These systems allow for the production
of materials that can be distributed through digital
publishing channels such as electronic message
boards, DVDs, CD-ROMs, and the Internet.
- Media
Distribution - IMP captures a multitude of digital
content which it uses to convey current college related
news and information through a variety of vehicles
that it oversees:
-
iTunes University
- Info Channel 5 (LCD messaging screens)
-
New Media Development - IMP is proactive
in developing the Colleges capability to produce
and distribute video and audio content through traditional
and emerging technologies. These include, but are
not limited to: DVDs and CD-ROMs, Web
streaming, Pod casting and iTunes U.
