Five Easy Steps

5 Easy Steps to Enroll for classes at Camden County College

Step 1

Complete an online application.  Click on Apply Online on the right navigation bar.

Step 2

Take the College Placement Test

The test is required for degree seeking students before registering for classes.  If you have attended another college and have taken college level English and math and received a grade of "C" or above, at a regionally accredited college you do not need to take the placement test.  Please submit to the Records and Registration Office an official transcript from every college you have listed on the application.  Many of the questions you have may be answered by viewing the virtual New Student Orientation presentation on the college webpage:  www.camdencc.edu.  This link will also guide you to important information about college resources.

Step 3

Come to Academic Advising to discuss your academic plans.

Prior to meeting with an advisor please review the days and hours you would like to attend classes, you may view a list of available courses online via WebAdvisor/Search for Sections (you do not need to log in to view the course offerings) or in the course booklet available on campus.  Returning students should print their "Program Evaluation" from WebAdvisor and review it before meeting with an advisor. You may also want to write down any questions you have for the advisor.

Step 4

Meet with an Advisor/Register for Classes

Your advisement session is arranged for you to:

Discuss your placement results with your Advisor or you may bring an unofficial copy of your transcripts for review with an Advisor.

Discuss the requirements of your major.

Assist with proper course selection for semester.

A staff member will assist you with building your schedule

You may also receive your welcome packet with instructions about Student Support Services, establishing a WebAdvisor account and college email service.

Step 5

Payment of courses

Registration is not complete without payment.  You may pay for your courses by check, money order, VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express® or Discover®.  Financial Aid recipients must submit proof of their CCC financial aid award. If you early register (October 31, 2011 through November 6, 2011), your payment is deferred until December 5, 2011.
