The College solicits vendors by quote,
an invitation to bid, request for proposal or by utilizing
New Jersey State Contracts.
The College obtains written quotes
from vendors for items that do not require a formal
bid and/or has not exceeded the bid threshold of $26,200.
Pricing is normally good for 30 days unless otherwise
noted on quote.
The College seeks competitive prices
for goods, services, and constructions projects, which
have been legally advertised for competitive pricing.
Specifications are available in the College's Purchasing
Office. Some projects have specifications available
from the Architect/Engineer. All submitted bids are
required to be sealed. Bids are publicly opened shortly
after the bid submission deadline.
The College seeks competitive pricing

Businesses are encouraged to submit
a solicitation letter to the Purchasing Office requesting
to be put on the College's bid, quote or RFP list for
the commodities they wish to sell to the College. A
vendor
information form and W-9 need to be completed.
All businesses must be registered
with the State of New Jersey , Department of the Treasury,
Division of Revenue in order to do business with the
College. All vendors must provide the College with a
copy of their Business Registration Certificate. For

Public Works Projects consists of
all projects involving construction, reconstruction,
demolition, alteration or repairs involving contractors
and subcontractors. All public works projects are subject
to prevailing wage rates for projects exceeding $2,000.
Certified payrolls must be submitted to the Purchasing
Office. All contractors and subcontractors are required
to be in compliance with the Public Works Contractor
Registration Act and must submit a copy of their Certificate
of Registration.
The College legally advertises bids
in the Courier-Post .
