Shuffle Up for Scholarships at CCC Foundation's 2nd Casino Fundraiser
Alumni and friends of Camden County College will be anteing up, doubling down, letting it ride and going all in during Shuffle Up for Scholarships, the Camden County College Foundation’s second annual casino-themed fundraising event. The Nov. 18 event will start at 7 p.m. in the Atrium of the Connector Building, which is located on the Blackwood Campus at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township.
Table games will include blackjack, craps, bingo and roulette. Attendees also will be able to spin a money wheel and join a Texas Hold ’Em tournament. All of these games offer players the opportunity to win prizes such as gift certificates, tickets and memorabilia.
General tickets cost $45 each and include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, $25 in chips and chances to win a number of prizes – including a raffle for an iPad2 which costs $10 for two tickets or $20 for five tickets. High-roller tickets cost $75 each and include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and $100 in chips plus the ability to deduct $30 of the purchase price from one’s taxes.
Also available are sponsorship opportunities. Plymouth Rock Assurance is the Ace Sponsor, but still available are opportunities to be the King Sponsor at $500 ($410 tax-deductible and includes two tickets to the event) or the Queen Sponsor at $250 ($205 tax-deductible and includes one ticket to the event). Available as well are sponsorships for the bank and the evening’s hospitality, which cost $500 each.
