Effective Fall 2008, all Camden County College student email addresses will have a new format: FirstName.LastName+last 3 digits of Colleague ID@students.camdencc.edu

For example, if a student’s name is John Doe and his Colleague ID is 5551234 then his email address would be: John.Doe234@students.camdencc.edu

This new email account will become the College’s official means of communicating with students. Therefore, it is more important than ever for you to check this mailbox regularly. One of the new features of the account is that you will be able to forward emails from this mailbox to an already existing account that you may have (e.g. yahoo, hotmail, Comcast, etc.).

Who is affected by this change?
All students registered for the Fall 2008 term and all students that register for any term after the Fall 2008 term.

What about my current College email account?
All current College issued student email accounts will remain active using the existing email address until October 31, 2008. After this date the old account will become unavailable.

How do I access my College email account?
To access the student email system, point your web browser to http://mail.live.com. Use the sign in boxes to enter your login and password. Your LOGIN is your new email address. (In the example above it would be John.Doe234@students.camdencc.edu).

What is my initial password?
Your initial PASSWORD is your 6-digit date of birth. (If you were born on January 1, 1990, your password would be 010190.) Follow the instructions to change your password as soon as you have gained access.
