ASSESSMENTS

The Educational Interpreter Professional Development Center at Camden County College will perform a diagnostic assessment of current interpreting skills in any of the following:

Sign Language Interpretation (EIPA) | Cued Speech Transliteration (NCSA) | Oral Transliteration (RID)

Once the individual has completed the proper skills assessment, he/she will receive a detailed diagnostic report outlining any areas requiring improvement. Based on this diagnosis, an EIPDC advisor will work with the participant to develop a Performance Skills Improvement Plan.

Following completion of the plan, the interpreter will participate in a post assessment and can then apply for state certification.
