Program Description
The curriculum in Computer Science is oriented towards science and technology and spans the range from theory to programming. It emphasizes software design and programming, computer architecture and functions, and development of an ability to analyze problems and use the computer as a problem-solving tool. Students graduating from the program will be awarded an associate in science degree.
Program Information
The program is designed as the first two years of a BS in computer science degree at a baccalaureate institution.This program provides:
•Articulation with computer science programs in baccalaureate institutions
•A study of mathematics, computer theory, and programming
•A strong computer foundation as well as a strong liberal arts background
