Program Description
This program prepares students for careers in journalism. In
addition to offering a general liberal arts and sciences
curriculum, the program examines various media and discusses
specific techniques used in combining writing and journalism.

This program is designed especially for those students who wish
to specialize early or who are already employed in a related
occupation.

The program enables students to understand the media’s

prepares students to understand the importance of public
relations and advertising; and enables students to understand
the management of relationships between an organization and
its public.

Campus Opportunities
Working with student organizations, clubs and some non-profit
