Camden City Campus

Hello from Dean Gary Divens

Welcome to the Camden City Campus of Camden County College! If you have visited our campus in the past, you know we are family and you are assured to see the same familiar faces helping you navigate the college experience.  In addition to our friendly staff, we are also home to many of the college’s most popular faculty members.

Our campus is located at the gateway of University District in downtown Camden which we feels puts us at the center of the educational renaissance happening in Camden.  We offer our students a safe place to learn, study, and earn a degree, and our campus features small class sizes that permit students to have the personal attention they deserve. In Camden, we make sure you that our community comes first, and our students’ success is at the forefront of every decision. Please, stop in and say hello!

Looking to earn your GED / NJHS Equivalent?

Our Adult Basic Skills High School Completion Test Preparation Program has been proudly serving New Jersey residents since 2008. We offer a unique academic program in a family atmosphere with qualified and caring instructors. Our 12 month program is customized to meet the needs of each student. After studying reading, writing, science, social studies and math, the students will take practice tests. If they do well, they can take the actual test. When the students pass all 5 parts of the new TASC High School Completion Test, they earn a New Jersey State endorsed High School Diploma!

And now, the college has partnered with the city, The Center for Family Services, and the county One Stop to offer Camden Corps Plus. Camden Corps Plus supports youth ages 16-24 who have not earned a high school diploma and want to change their lives. Contact Carol Dann at cdann@camdencc.eduor (856) 968-1315 for more information.

What services does our Camden Campus offer?

For our students, on the first floor of the Camden Technology Center (CTC) you can grab your lunch and coffee at the Starbucks Café located in the Barnes & Noble University District Bookstore. Barnes & Noble stocks new and used textbooks as well as textbooks that are available for rent. Some students have also been known to pick up their CCC “swag” in the bookstore too.

Our Students receive library services, including direct borrowing privileges at Rutgers University's Robeson Library. It is located at 300 N. Fourth Street, Camden, approximately 1 block from the Camden Campus.  You may also use the Rutgers-University gym if you are a registered student at CCC.

Don’t have a computer or internet access?

Our E-Village provides open computer access for students and guests. Although Camden Campus students and faculty are the highest priority, E-Village services are also available for county residents.
