Biography:
Camden County College has been a quintessential part of my entire adult life. After completing two tours of military service in Vietnam (1965-67) I was a member of the inaugural class when Camden County College opened its doors for the first time in September 1967. I was elected President of the CCC Student Government Association for the 1968-69 academic year. I have always been extremely proud to be a member of that first class and I have been incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to personally participate in the growth and development of the college for over 35 years.

After receiving an Associates Degree I transferred to Rutgers New Brunswick and earned a BA in History and Political Science. I returned to CCC in 1973 as an employee when I was appointed a Veterans Outreach Counselor. In 1974 I was named Director of Financial Aid and I became the Dean of Personnel and Labor Relations in 1979. I subsequently earned a double Master's Degree from Rutgers New Brunswick in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations. My comprehensive management experience in job analysis, contract administration, collective bargaining, arbitration, recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, compensation and benefit programs, training and development, and EEOC compliance requirements has proven to be a valuable asset and resource that I use extensively in teaching business courses. My areas of specialty are Business Law I & II, Introduction to Management, Human Resource Management, and Introduction to Business.

In the spring term of the 1993-1994 academic year I became a full-time professor in the Business Studies Department. Teaching at CCC is not an occupation for me; it is truly an avocation. I thoroughly delight in the time that I spend with students and it is my goal to provide them with the same positive experience at CCC that I have personally enjoyed for over thirty years.
