Biography:
Sandra Tannen earned a BA in Education at Brooklyn College and an MS in Mathematics Education soon after that. She joined the staff of Camden County College in 1987 as an adjunt faculty member. Prior to that, Sandra taught in New York City, Omaha, Nebraska and Central New Jersey. Sandra has extensive experience teaching adults as well as children. In addition to her work at Camden County College, Sandra has managed a successful private tutoring service for the past fifteen years in Cherry Hill. There she specialized in SAT Preparation, Study Skills and Mathematics instruction for local middle and high school students. Sandra teaches at both the Blackwood and Camden City Campuses. She is an active member of the AMATYC (American Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges) and NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). Sandra is committted to excellence in education and equal educational opportunity for all.
