ESL-Levels and Courses
• Academic: Assist students who are preparing for college study in the U.S.
• Functional: Provide career skills for individuals in the work force
• Cultural: Provide English skills for those who need to adapt to the American society
ESL Accuplacer Full Test = Reading, Listening, Essay
1 – ENG 101 is NOT part of the ESL Course Sequence
2 – Students must either 1) complete ESL-094; or 2) place into ENG-101 based on the ESL Accuplacer Placement Test.
3 – Continuing Education ESL courses are offered through the Continuing Education Department in conjunction with the ESL Department. These are NOT ESL credit courses
